Plastic Layer Pads

For increased sustainability, we have developed a range of plastic layer pads for bottle and can manufacturing applications.

Bevsure Plastic Layer Pads are made from polypropylene (PP), and are 100% recyclable. Plastic Layer Pads are chemical, bacteria and insect larvae resistant, and have water proof and anti-slip features. Major fillers around the world, prefer their container suppliers use plastic layer pads as part of their sustainability drive.

Bevsure Plastic Layer Pads last 10 – 20 times longer than paper sheets (150+ life cycles vs. 5-10 for paper). Whilst more expensive as initial purchase, the overall lifetime cost / trip is substantially lower. Plastic layer pads are also resistant to tearing unlike paper alternatives.

Since coefficient of friction and flatness is more consistent with plastic layer pads, you can reduce your line down-time and associated costs. Bevsure Plastic Layer Pads enable improved nesting of the cans or bottles, and offer increased stability of loads during handling, storage and transport. They are also compatible with automatic palletizers and de-palletizers.

Manufacturing standards for plastic layer pads are thickness 0.8mm for food & beverage cans, 1.3 – 1.5mm for PET & PE bottles, and 2.5mm – 4mm for glass bottles. The corner radius range are between 30mm to 100mm. Customised size & thickness plastic layer pads are also available based on client requirements.
